Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge


Troop 505 will be working on their Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge during the March troop meetings and the advancement camp out finishing with a test at the April 5th meeting.

The scouts will receive the all the written materials they need at the Feb 22 troop meeting. The Emergency Preparedness work sheet will act as their blue card.  The counselors will sign it as requirements are completed and the scout will need to hand the work book in at the end of the class on April 5th  to obtain their signed, completed blue card.

Things to do first: 

  1. Read and understand the Syllabus. 

  2. Read and understand the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge book.

  3. Start your homework.

  4. Read the online materials (links below)
